Extension of reduced VAT rates to islands in the Aegean Sea
With the P.N.P. 31/12/2018 (GG A ‘ 221/31.12.2018) is extended for a 6-months period, i.e. up to 30/6/2019, the reduced VAT rate of 17%, 9% and 4% for the islands of Leros, Lesvos, Kos, Samos and Chios, located in the eye of the cyclone of the humanitarian crisis.
We remind you that these islands were excluded from the application of the standard VAT rates of 24%, 13% and 6%, valid from 1/1/2018 for the entire Greek territory, including all the islands (article 118 of N. 4446/2016).
