Description

BioStation 2 incorporates the latest Suprema technology in a beautiful IP65 certified weather proof exterior. It combines a new powerful processor, Suprema’s next generation optical sensor and improved fingerprint sensing & capturing algorithm to offer unrivaled performance. BioStation 2 provides users with instant authentication (matching and identification of up to 20,000 fingerprints per second) and rapid data transfer to manage high volume data with ease (transmission rate of large biometric data of 5,000 users per min). In addition, it offers a massive memory capacity to handle up to 1,000,000 fingerprint templates, which corresponds to up to 500,000 users. But even in the event of a loss of connection to the server, it can keep up to 3,000,000 logs backed up to protect all records. Finally, featuring standard TCP/IP and RS485 interfaces for primary communication between devices and servers, built-in WiFi and Power-over-Ethernet, and supporting USB and Wiegand interfaces, it is ideal for applications that require versatility without compromise in style and performance.
